A billing point is a consumer (apartment, common area, business). Climkit management fees are always counted based on the number of billing points and independently of the number of meters.
Electricity: Climkit generates individual statements from the private meters (RCP) or from the DSO meters (RCPv or LEC). Collective laundry and e-bike are also included in this statement.
Heating and water: Climkit generates the statements of heating, hot water and cold water consumption for each apartment from the respective individual meters.
Charging stations: Climkit generates individual statements only for the billing points that use the charging stations.
The fees are cumulative: each solution is billed independently.
Example: The fees for an apartment with electricity and heating and water are CHF 7.00 excl. VAT per month (3.50 + 3.50). If the resident uses a charging station, the fees are CHF 10.50 for that resident only. By default, the fees for electricity and charging stations are paid directly by the consumer, while the fees linked to the heating statement are reported in the building's ancillary costs.

With the "Individual billing and collection" option, Climkit manages all consumer billing through a consolidated invoice: electricity (RCP, RCPv, LEC), EV charging stations, collective laundries and e-bike charging.
These fees are added to the metering and statement fees. For example, for a building with electricity and quarterly billing, the fees are CHF 6.50 / month per billing point (3.50 for the statement and 3.00 for the billing).
If a billing point also uses the charging stations, the total cost is CHF 10.00 / month (3.50 for the electricity statement + 3.50 for the charging station statement + 3.00 for the billing).
By default, all these fees are included on the invoice and paid directly by the consumer.
Heating and water:
Climkit can manage the direct billing of heating and water in specific cases (certain commercial leases or thermal contracting).
For a PPE condominium or a rental building, Climkit only provides the meter data required for the annual cost allocation, in accordance with the principles of individual heating cost accounting (DIFEE) and tenancy law.

Each charging station can be activated in public mode if the owner wishes, with no monthly subscription. This mode remains compatible with badge use of the charging station by residents (Charging station with individual statement solution). The owner can charge the rate of their choice. Occasional users identify themselves and pay directly by credit card or Twint. The transaction fees are billed directly to the user.
